Overview

The Payroll Office is committed to ensuring that all employees are compensated accurately and in a timely manner. Hillsborough Community College is dedicated to adhering to all applicable federal and state laws, as well as union agreements, regarding employee compensation. If you believe you have not been compensated in accordance with these standards, please contact Sonia Sterling, Financial Services Manager. 

The department's responsibilities also include processing payments for payroll deductions, benefits, and taxes, as well as preparing and submitting federal, state, and retirement reports. 

The Payroll Department is responsible for processing employee payments. This includes the administration of payroll deductions and benefits. Additionally, W-2 forms for income tax reporting are issued to employees by January 31st of each year, covering the previous calendar year's wages.
