This guide compares the basic functions of the C455HD (touch screen) and C435HD (non-touch screen) phones.
Initial Phone Setup & Sign-In
The first time you connect your phone, you will need to pair it with your Microsoft Teams account.
- Your phone's screen will show a URL (https://microsoft.com/devicelogin) and a unique code.
- On a computer or mobile device, open a web browser and go to that URL.
- Enter the code from your phone's screen and click Next.
- Sign in with your HCC NetID and password.
- Once authenticated, your phone will automatically sign in to your Teams account.

C435HD (Non-Touch Screen)

Making & Answering Calls
- Make Call: Tap Calls icon and use keypad, or go to People to select a contact.
- Answer Call: Pick up handset, use Speaker/Headset key, or tap Accept on screen.
- Make Call: Enter number and press Dial softkey, or press CONTACTS key to find a contact.
- Answer Call: Lift handset, use Speaker/Headset key, or press Accept softkey.
Call Management
- Hold: Tap the three dots (...) and select Put call on hold.
- Resume: Tap Resume on the screen.
- Voicemail: Tap the Voicemail icon, select a message, and tap the play button.
- Hold: Press the dedicated HOLD key.
- Resume: Press the HOLD key again.
- Voicemail: Press the Voicemail key, select a message, and press the Play softkey.
Transferring a Call
- Blind (Direct): Tap (...) > Transfer > Transfer Now > Select contact.
- Consult (Announced): Tap (...) > Transfer > Consult first > Call contact > Tap the Transfer icon.
- Blind (Direct): Press Transfer softkey > Select Transfer now & press OK > Select contact & press OK.
- Consult (Announced): Press Transfer softkey > Select Consult first & press OK > Call contact > Open (...) menu > Select Transfer & press OK twice.
